Greetings from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at BAIUST! Since our inception in December 2015, our faculty has been dedicated to nurturing highly qualified civil engineers who meet the demands of industry, research, and academia both domestically and internationally. Our Bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering provides a robust foundation in engineering fundamentals and design principles. At our department, we are committed to continuously enhancing the quality of education through a rigorous outcome-based education (OBE) system. We ensure that our curricula and syllabi are updated in accordance with guidelines from the UGC and BAETE. Our approach is student-centered, supported by a team of highly qualified faculty and staff. We prioritize practical learning through well-equipped laboratories, sessional classes, and research opportunities. Moreover, BAIUST offers a vibrant campus life with facilities such as a playground for recreational activities, a canteen for dining, and a well-equipped library that serves as a valuable resource hub for our students. We take pride in our graduates’ achievements, as they pursue higher studies both within the country and abroad. Many of our alumni have gone on to excel in prestigious institutions globally, contributing significantly to the field of civil engineering. We also provide comprehensive support to our students, including continuous monitoring, evaluation, and counseling services to ensure their holistic development. Additionally, we actively encourage participation in workshops, seminars, conferences, and extracurricular activities to enrich their educational experience. Looking ahead, we are determined to excel and establish ourselves as leaders in civil engineering education. With the grace of Allah, we aspire to be recognized among the top educators in our field.
