Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) started its journey on 14 February 2015. Now it has the new permanent campus in Syedpur, Cumilla, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes. Students will have access to all modern amenities while enjoying the tranquillity of rural scenic beauty. The university provides state-of-the-art education in a peaceful and serene educational environment, away from the chaos of city life.

Since inception, it has been committed to ensuring education with global standards. Moreover, the university aspires to become a centre of excellence in Science, Engineering and Technology by providing innovative, multidisciplinary programs to the country’s young generation and beyond. It also endeavours to make the university a hub of knowledge and become the country’s leading university. It is our goal to assist every single student in attaining their academic and social potentials. Our university has high learning expectations for students within a healthy, stimulating and supportive learning environment. Our teachers always remain up to date on changes to the curriculum, teaching methodology and to work as a collaborative team in developing overall standard of education. Our teachers encourage students to be confident and work to the best of their abilities. This approach to teaching helps students to develop a solid sense of self-worth which helps them prepare to be strong, global and community minded individuals who can be successful in most spheres of the diverse society in which they live.

With this vision in mind, the university offers various undergraduate and graduate programs under six departments such as; Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Dept. of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Dept. of Civil Engineering (CE), Dept. of Business Administration (DBA), Dept. of English and Dept. of Law. Every program aims to produce graduates under Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum. We always prioritize the needs of our students, and we would like to extend our gratitude to their guardians for placing their trust in us.
