
BAIUST Electrical Engineering (EEE) students completed industrial training at Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited
As an integral part of its B.Sc. curriculum, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of BAIUST has sent its graduating students on a mission of 21 days (twenty-one) days of rigorous industrial training.
On November 26, 2024, the graduating BAIUST EEE students (Spring 2024) semester has joined Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited (CUFL), in collaboration with Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC). The training lasted for three weeks, concluding on December 17, 2024.
Under the supervision of a number of highly skilled engineers and scientists, the students trained in all the divisions of Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited, including power generation, electrical maintenance, instrument, machinery & plant maintenance, laboratory, ammonia plant and urea plant, etc.
This extensive three-weeks industrial training has enabled our young trainee EEE Engineers to become skilled assets of our country, as proven by their predecessors, who are already employed in many notable industries and corporations.
