Social Pathology, Poverty, Crime, Islamic Principles
My research interests primarily focus on social pathology and political sociology, examining how societal dysfunctions, such as inequality, discrimination, and stratification, are shaped and sustained by political structures, power relations, and governance dynamics in the context of Bangladesh. I aim to explore how these systemic issues contribute to broader social problems, including poverty, religious intolerance, corruption, and crime, while analyzing their root causes through the lens of state-society relations, institutional failures, and policy inequities. Additionally, I am committed to investigating Islamic teachings and principles as potential solutions to these challenges, assessing their role in fostering social justice, communal harmony, inclusion, and resilience within affected communities.
