BAIUST

Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) aims to create an environment where students can excel academically, socially, and personally. At BAIUST, we believe that education involves not only the acquisition of knowledge but also the development of character, ethical values, and a sense of social responsibility essential for thriving in a dynamic and interconnected world. A student’s academic journey is closely linked to their social and emotional development, and the university seeks to be a place that nurtures both these aspects.

BAIUST’s Student Welfare Policy was created with this balanced approach in mind. Its primary goal is to ensure students’ well-being by providing them with the necessary support, resources, and chances to succeed inside and outside the classroom. However, student welfare is a vast and ongoing concern that cannot be fully captured in a single document. This policy will complement, rather than replace, existing regulations and frameworks governing student affairs.

In addition to outlining key welfare issues, this Policy also lays down clear strategies and responsibilities for effective implementation. While it serves as a guiding document, its success will ultimately depend on the collective commitment of our community—students, faculty, and staff to put its principles into action. Let us work together with integrity, dedication, and respect to uphold the values of BAIUST and contribute to shaping responsible, caring, and ethical leaders for the future.

I call upon all those entrusted with the responsibility of implementing this Policy to do so with sincerity and a shared vision for the betterment of our University, the nation, and the global community.
