Champion position Secured by EEE Students at IEEE BUP Branchfest 2025

It is announced with great pride that the Champion position in the Research Poster Presentation segment of the IEEE BUP Branchfest 2025 has been secured by a team of 14th-batch thesis students from the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), BAIUST, Cumilla. The event was held yesterday.

The achievement was secured by the team, officially registered under the name “Team Cement,” supervised by Md Nahidul Alam, Lecturer, Department of EEE, BAIUST. Their winning research, “Energy Harvesting Cement Composites Reinforced with Fe₂O₃, CuO, and Co₃O₄ Metal Oxides,” stood out for its exceptional technical depth and significant practical relevance, ultimately leading them to victory.

The competition featured participation from several renowned universities, with the first and second runner-up positions being secured by DUET and BUP, respectively. The team’s commitment, enthusiasm, and passion for learning were recognized as significant contributions to the success of the event. This honor is seen as a testament to the dedication and academic rigor exhibited by our students. The champions are sincerely thanked for this outstanding accomplishment and for the prestige they have brought to BAIUST.
