Overview

The Students’ Welfare Office (SWO) at Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) serves as a vital wing dedicated to ensuring the overall well-being and development of its student community. Functioning under the guidance of the university authority, the DSW plays a central role in coordinating and managing all aspects of student life beyond the classroom. Its responsibilities encompass fostering a student-friendly environment that promotes discipline, motivation, and personal growth. 

The SWO is committed to supporting students in both academic and co-curricular spheres by arranging a variety of cultural, social, and academic programs that contribute to a well-rounded university experience. It acts as a bridge between the administration and the students, addressing individual or collective concerns and working proactively to resolve issues that may affect the learning environment. SWO also assists in guiding students toward career opportunities through workshops, seminars, and counseling sessions, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional world.

Overall, the SWO at BAIUST is deeply committed to enhancing student life, cultivating a vibrant campus culture, and upholding the values and academic standards of the university.

1. Foster a holistic and supportive environment that prioritizes the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of all students.
2. Guide and assist students in their career journey by offering placement support, skill development, and career counselling tailored to individual potential.
3. Provide accessible, fair, and student-centered welfare facilities, including accommodation, healthcare, and financial aid, to ensure a balanced academic life.
4. Promote leadership, creativity, and teamwork by coordinating and encouraging active participation in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
5. Maintain effective coordination with faculty, club advisors, and administrative staff to create a nurturing and responsive student support system.
