DevFest AI Hackathon 2023

The DevFest AI Hackathon 2023 took place at BAIUST on December 5th, 2023, organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) Sonargaon. Approximately 200 participants, forming 43 teams, joined the event to collaboratively apply artificial intelligence (AI) to solve significant real-world challenges. The Department Head and faculty members participated in the program, overseeing the judging section. The Head of the Department delivered a brief speech, extending a warm welcome to AI enthusiasts and aspiring AI developers. Additionally, speeches were delivered by Abu Anwar MD Abdullah, Google Developer Expert in Flutter & Dart, and Mazharul Islam, AI Engineer at Robi Axiata Limited. The event commenced at 8:30 am and concluded at 7:00 pm. The honorable Vice-Chancellor and Registrar were present, initiating the prize-giving ceremony. In collaboration with BAIUST CSE Department and BAIUST Computer Club, GDG Sonargaon successfully organized this captivating program.
